Our research interests are in integer partitions and related areas like number theory and combinatorics. More precisely, we study the elementary and combinatorial aspects of partitions. Among these, the concept of minimal excludant occupies an importantl place. We work on its generalizations and analogues and investigate the corresponding properties as that of the minimal excludant. Some good resources to start learning about partitions are:
To get going with minimal excludants, please see the papers of Andrews and Newman, namely, 'Partitions and the minimal excludant' (in Annals of Combinatorics) and 'The minimal excludant in integer partitions' (in Journal of Integer Sequences)
