About the Faculty
Dr. Lucy J. Gudino earned her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kuvempu University in 1994, and went on to complete her M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India, in 2003 and 2010, respectively. She currently holds the position of Professor in the Computer Science and Information Systems group at the Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) Division of BITS Pilani. With over 29 years of teaching experience in both Electronics and Communication, as well as Computer Science, she has made significant contributions to academic leadership. She previously served as the Programme Committee Lead for WILP’s Computer Science and Information Systems and has been actively involved in curriculum design, course development, and the digitization of course and laboratory content. Her research areas include Wireless Networks (specifically Wireless Sensor Networks and Adhoc Networks), Array Signal Processing, and Digital Filter Design. She has successfully supervised seven Ph.D. scholars in topics related to Wireless Sensor Networks, Wireless Adhoc Networks, and antenna design for wireless applications.

Research Interests
Adaptive signal processing, array signal processing, digital filter design with applications in speech processing, wireless networks (including wireless sensor and ad-hoc networks), and cyber-physical systems.
