About the faculty

Dr. Upasana joined the department of Chemical Engineering, BITS Pilani- K.K. Birla Goa Campus in January,2023. Prior to that she worked as a  senior project scientist in the department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras from September 2021-December 2022. She also served as faculty in the department of Chemical Engineering NIT AP from July-August 2021. 

Dr. Upasana completed her graduation in Chemical Engineering with honors from Assam Engineering College in 2013. She did  MTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Guwahati in 2016. Further in 2021, she obtained  PhD  in Chemical Engineering from IIT Guwahati. Her  thesis work includes electrical double layer capacitor.
