Academic Counselling Cell

Academic Counselling Cell

ACC aims to enhance academic ambience on campus. ACC is a dedicated team of faculty volunteers (at least one from each department) who listen to students and guide them academically. The issues can be anything, and any student is eligible to mail any ACC faculty (list below) they know for an appointment. You can also request an appointment by mailing acc@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in. The Faculty keeps everything confidential, and has the sole aim of encouraging and motivating the student.

About the ACC

The Academic Counselling Cell (ACC) is here to make your academic journey smoother and more fulfilling. We alot a discipline mentor to every first year student (If you are in first year, feel free to reach out to the mentors).

We’re a team of friendly, approachable faculty volunteers — with at least one member from every department — who are always ready to listen and guide you

Whether you’re facing challenges with your courses, unsure about your degree choices, or simply feeling stuck, you can reach out to the ACC team.

Our discussions are completely confidential. You can talk to us about anything that’s affecting your academics — even personal concerns that might be getting in the way of your studies

Beyond academics, ACC aims to enhance the academic atmosphere on campus, build healthy student–faculty relationships, and remind you that academic life can be both happy and rewarding. Think of us as your mentors and life coaches — here to motivate, guide, and listen whenever you need it.

ACC functions

  1. ACC is for all students on campus, since 2012.
  2. ACC conducts only face-to-face motivational counselling.
  3. ACC assigns discipline faculty mentors for first year students, to ACB students, to students who reach out.
  4. ACC aims to promote the satisfaction of academics – through resources, events & services.

ACC is different from ACB

  1. ACB is an early warning system for academic insufficiency.
  2. ACB and ACC are completely different bodies.
  3. ACC does not make academic decisions about the student’s future.
