• Selected as the Winner of the Rising Star Educator Award at the Best Faculty Awards 2024, Celebrating the Best in AI Technology organized by AIMER Society on March 2, 2024.
• Secured an International Exchange Scheme from Royal Society in collaboration with University of York, United Kingdom in 2023.
• Won the iDEX - DISC 4 challenge in 2021 and received the grant award from DIO, DRDO.
• Secured an Indo-Russian Joint Grant in collaboration with Novosibirsk State Technical University, Russia in 2020.
• Received the Young Achiever Award in 2019 from INSc, Bangalore.

Research and Projects:

• Led various extra-mural funded projects from government and non-government agencies.
• Served as a machine learning and data analytics consultant, delivering innovative products to diverse industry verticals.
• Developed an AI-based COVID Screening tool for preliminary screening during the 2020 pandemic. The tool was deployed as open source in three government hospitals in Tamil Nadu, India, with the support of SASTRA Management.
• Received several Best Paper Awards in reputable international conferences 

Professional Engagement:

• Member of the reviewer board for several international journals and program committees for international conferences and workshops.
• Current memberships include the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and lifetime membership with the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
