Akshaya Ganesan is working as an Assistant Professor with the Computer Science and Information Systems group of Work Integrated Learning Programmes Division. She has 2 years of experience in the industry and 5+ years of teaching experience. Apart from effective classroom teaching, she has held various roles and responsibilities including curriculum development, departmental committee works, students counselling, placement training, and recruitment of faculty in various colleges.

She holds an M.E Computer Science and Engineering degree from Anna University, Chennai. She teaches courses in the area of Web Development, Service Oriented Computing and Algorithms. Other area of interest includes Full stack software development, cloud computing and Devops.
