About :

Hi, my name is Sharad Shrivastava you may call me S Srivastava. I am lecturer at Mechanical Engineering Department, BITS Pilani, with qualification B.Tech in “Mechanical Engineering” Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya vishwavidyalaya, 1998, M.Tech in “ Precision and Quality Engineering”,Indian Institute Of Technology Kharagpur, 2004 I joined BITS in 2006. My research interest include: Non-destructive testing, biomedical engg, finite element analysis, Mechanics of materials. In the current semester I am teaching Mechanics of solids, Non-destructive testing techniques, workshop practice. My primary teaching interests are: Fracture mechanics, Mechanics of Solids, Material Science, Thermodynamics, Quality Control and Reliability, Finite Element Methods, Structure and properties of materials, For post graduate: Material Testing and Technology, Non-Destructive Testing Techniques, Heat Transfer. I have also taken up administrative leadership as Nucleus member, RCD, Exective member, staff association BITS Pilani.I received the BEST FACULTY AWARD in the college (MPCCET Bhilai from the honarble Governor of the CG state). I have working experience: 10 years in teaching, Administrative Experience: Working as a nucleus member in Research & Consultancy Division in BITS Pilani from March 2007.
