Hi, my name is Sharad Shrivastava you may call me S Srivastava. I am lecturer at Mechanical Engineering Department, BITS Pilani, with qualification B.Tech in “Mechanical Engineering” Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya vishwavidyalaya, 1998, M.Tech in “ Precision and Quality Engineering”,Indian Institute Of Technology Kharagpur, 2004 I joined BITS in 2006. My research interest include: Non-destructive testing, biomedical engg, finite element analysis, Mechanics of materials. In the current semester I am teaching Mechanics of solids, Non-destructive testing techniques, workshop practice. My primary teaching interests are: Fracture mechanics, Mechanics of Solids, Material Science, Thermodynamics, Quality Control and Reliability, Finite Element Methods, Structure and properties of materials, For post graduate: Material Testing and Technology, Non-Destructive Testing Techniques, Heat Transfer.
