Hi, my name is Dr.P.Srinivasan you may call me Srinivasan. I am Assistant Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department, BITS Pilani, with qualification B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) Regional Engineering College, Srinagar.(1988), M.E. (Industrial Metallurgy) Regional Engineering College, Trichy.(1994), Ph.D.(Production Engineering) National Institute of Technology, Trichy.(2004). I joined BITS in 2006. My research interest include: Heat transfer modeling and simulation, Fracture Mechanics and Failure analysis, Residual Life assessment, Creep and Fatigue, Microstructure and evaluation.In the current semester I am teaching Metal Forming and Machining, Workshop Practice. My primary teaching interests are: 1) Engineering Metallurgy 2) Metal forming 3)Heat Transfer 4) Applied Thermodynamics 5) Energy Management 6) Smart Materials.
