Introduction

Prof. Subhadeep Banerjee is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, BITS-Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus. He joined as an Assistant Professor in January 2013 and was promoted to Associate Professor in June 2021. Prof. Banerjee received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, USA in May 2011 and his MS in Chemistry from Cornell University, USA in May 2007. He worked as a research scientist at Sigma-Aldrich Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore India from November 2011-November 2012, before joining his current position. His research fields of interest are synthesis and photophysical evaluation of heteroacene based donor-acceptor molecules and synthesis of novel porphyrins with red-shifted optical properties.
