About the Faculty
Suparna Chakraborty is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani- Hyderbad Campus. She received her Ph.D. degree in the broad domain of Wireless Sensor Network Reliability from IIT Kharagpur, India, and Curtin University, Australia in 2021. She received her MS (By Research) degree in the area of Communication Network Reliability from Subir Chowdhury School of Quality and Reliability, IIT Kharagpur in 2014. Parallel to her MS program, she also has 3 years of experience on reliability related live projects sponsored by government and private agencies. She published peer-reviewed journal articles in reputed journals like IEEE Transactions on Reliability, IEEE Sensors Journal, Reliability Engineering and System Safety, etc.
Her current research interest includes Internet of Things, Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Networks, Network Reliability, Fault Tolerance, Reliability and Availability of Sensor Networks, Tactile Networks, Wireless Networks, Sensor Networks and Optimization, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Connected Cars, Automotive Communication, and Automotive Networking.
