About the Faculty 

Dr. Manoj Kumar Pandey is an Associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus. He has his master's from IIT Roorkee and Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. He has fourteen years of teaching and research experience.
 

He was conferred the Award of Excellence in Teaching by BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus on September 5, 2022.  

He was awarded the Prof. Prabhulal Bhatnagar Memorial Prize in 2007-2008 for his outstanding performance during his Ph.D. The award, which contains a cash prize, was announced at the 46th Convocation of IIT Bombay. 

As an educator, he actively teaches various courses at the undergraduate and dual-degree levels. His primary academic focus revolves around Partial Differential Equations and their applications. In the field of research, he is particularly dedicated to the theoretical examination of hyperbolic systems of PDEs and the investigation of wave propagation and interaction problems.
