About the Faculty

Dr. Pethe received his B.E. (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani Rajasthan. Subsequently he earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Stanford CA, USA.  From 2007-2018, Dr. Pethe worked in various roles across semiconductor companies in the SF Bay Area in the areas of logic and memory technology development. He has led teams involved in transistor development in sub-20nm node and 3D NAND memory development at 2X node. He has wide experience dealing with teams across various countries including USA, China, Taiwan and India. He is an author/co-author on 8 US patents. In the summer of 2018, he relocated to India and joined his alma mater as faculty in the Department of Electrical , Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at the BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus.
