Dr. Hussain Ahmed Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. He holds Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. He has extensive teaching and research experience, having taught more than 1,200+ undergraduate students in Computer Science and Engineering over the past 4.5+ years. He served as an Assistant Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, and Dhemaji Engineering College, Assam, under Govt. of Assam. Dr. Chowdhury qualified GATE and NTA-NET and loves teaching core Computer Science and Engineering courses. He already taught more than 10+ different core Computer Science and Engineering courses.
His current research focuses on machine learning and bioinformatics to gain deeper insights into complex diseases. Dr. Chowdhury has published several research papers in leading international journals and conferences. Dr. Chowdhury is always grateful to his PhD supervisor, Prof. Dhruba Kumar Bhattacharyya of Tezpur University, India, and co-supervisor, Prof. Jugal Kumar Kalita, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, USA, for nurturing him as a researcher. He is deeply committed to mentoring students, advancing applied AI research, and fostering creative problem-solving in and out of the classroom.
