Travel Grants

IEEE DELCON 2026 invites applications for limited Travel Grants for eligible student authors and early-career faculty members/researchers.

The travel grants aim to encourage in-person participation of deserving authors presenting quality research papers at the 5th IEEE Delhi Section Flagship Conference, IEEE DELCON 2026, to be held during 19–21 November 2026 at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan, India.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions :
  • The applicant must be a student author or an early-career faculty member/researcher.
  • The applicant must have a paper registered in EDAS for IEEE DELCON 2026.
  • The manuscript PDF must be uploaded in EDAS at the time of application.
  • The applicant must be an author/co-author of the submitted paper.
  • The applicant must commit to registering for the conference and presenting the paper in person if the paper is accepted.
  • Eligibility is based on the applicant’s category. Papers co-authored with senior faculty members/researchers are also eligible, provided the applicant is a student or early-career faculty member/researcher and meets the award conditions.

Coverage

The travel grant may include one or more of the following, depending on the availability of funds and committee approval :

  • Travel support
  • Accommodation support

The exact amount and mode of support may vary depending on available funds, the number of eligible applications, and the committee’s final approval.

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Quality and relevance of the paper
  • Applicant’s role and contribution in the paper
  • Presenting author status
  • Diversity considerations, including institution, region, and gender balance, where possible
  • Recommendation from the supervisor/HoD, if provided
  • Financial need, if applicable

  • Result Announcement: After paper acceptance notification.
  • Final Award Confirmation: Subject to conference registration and in-person presentation of the accepted paper.

Submission of an application does not guarantee financial support. Travel grants are subject to paper acceptance, timely registration, in-person presentation, merit, and availability of funds. The decision of the IEEE DELCON 2026 Travel Grants Committee will be final.
