Journal Paper Publication Opportunities

IEEE DELCON 2026 brings together researchers working across communications, computing, sensing, intelligent systems, energy, control, biomedical technologies, industry applications, and other emerging areas.

All accepted, registered, and presented papers, including both Regular Track papers and Special Session papers, will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE Xplore scope, quality, and compliance requirements.

In addition, this page highlights selected journal paper publication opportunities and extension pathways relevant to the technical themes of the conference.

Disclaimer

  • The opportunities listed on this page include both IEEE DELCON 2026-linked publication pathways and independent journal/special issue/collection opportunities relevant to the conference themes.

  • Opportunities explicitly mentioned as associated with IEEE DELCON 2026 are subject to the applicable society, publisher, journal, and conference policies, including scope alignment, eligibility requirements, substantial revision requirements, approval processes, and independent peer review.

  • Independent opportunities are listed for informational purposes only and do not imply formal association, endorsement, sponsorship, or publication agreement with IEEE DELCON 2026 unless specifically stated.

  • Authors are advised to visit the respective publisher, society, or journal websites for the latest information regarding scope, submission deadlines, manuscript requirements, publication policies, and review procedures

IEEE Industry Applications Society Publication Pathway

  • IEEE DELCON 2026 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society. As per IEEE IAS policy, selected high-quality presented papers from technically co-sponsored conferences may be considered for further review for journal extension opportunities in:

Such consideration is subject to applicable IEEE IAS technical co-sponsorship terms, journal scope, substantial revision requirements, and independent peer review.

Authors should note that any extended journal version must follow the applicable IEEE publication policies, including proper citation of the conference version and sufficient technical extension beyond the conference paper.

Nature Portfolio Collection on Implantable Wireless Communication Technologies

  • Authors working in biomedical, implantable, intra-body, and wireless communication technologies may note the Nature Portfolio Collection on “Implantable Wireless Communication Technologies.”

Editors: Hamed Rahmani, PhD, New York University, United States; and Syed Mohammad Zafaruddin, PhD, BITS Pilani, India.

The Collection invites submissions on implantable wireless systems across RF, mmWave/THz, optical, acoustic, and hybrid approaches, as well as wireless power transfer, miniaturization, packaging, materials, security, and biomedical applications.

Relevant extended versions of conference papers may be submitted independently to the Collection, provided they substantially go beyond the conference proceedings version and comply with Nature Portfolio editorial and peer-review policies.

    Submission deadline: 26 November 2026
