Camera-Ready Paper Submission

Important Guidelines

         Deadline: 25 October 2026

  • Authors of accepted IEEE DELCON 2026 papers must complete payment, registration, IEEE PDF eXpress validation, copyright submission, and final manuscript upload by the deadline.

  • Authors must carefully address all reviewers’ comments available in EDAS. Further processing of the paper for presentation and possible publication in IEEE Xplore is subject to satisfactory incorporation of these comments and final quality and originality checks.

  • The camera-ready manuscript must follow the IEEE conference format and be limited to 6 pages. For papers exceeding six pages, contact delcon2026@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in before payment for instructions.

  • The final manuscript must include author names and affiliations. Adding or removing authors or changing their order is not permitted. The author list and order must exactly match those recorded in EDAS when the manuscript was submitted for review.

  • The final camera-ready manuscript must have an overall similarity score below 20%, excluding references and bibliography. Authors must address excessive textual overlap and appropriately cite source material. All manuscripts remain subject to an originality check.

  • Any AI-generated content, including text, figures, images, or code, must be disclosed in the Acknowledgments section, identifying the AI tool, affected content, and the extent of its use. Authors remain responsible for technical accuracy. Disclosure for AI used solely for editing and grammar enhancement is recommended but not required.

  • IEEE DELCON 2026 will be held in person at BITS Pilani on 19–21 November 2026. Virtual paper presentations are not permitted. If none of the authors can attend, a qualified substitute may present in person with prior approval from the organizing committee. See the Substitute Presenter Policy.

Compliance with the above guidelines is required for papers to be considered for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE’s publication requirements.

Step 1: Pay the author registration fee

Step 2: Prepare the final manuscript

  • Revise the paper in response to the reviewers’ comments.
  • Use the IEEE conference paper template in two-column conference format. For LaTeX, use \documentclass[10pt,conference]{IEEEtran}.
  • The review manuscript omitted author details for double-blind review. The camera-ready manuscript must include the names and affiliations of all authors listed in EDAS, in the same order. Do not add a new author, omit an existing author, or change the order recorded in EDAS.
  • Ensure that the paper title in the PDF matches the title in EDAS.
  • The standard limit is 6 pages. Up to 2 additional pages are permitted, subject to an extra charge of ₹1,000 per page for Indian authors or USD 50 per page for foreign authors.
  • Do not add page numbers, a conference header or footer, a DOI, or an IEEE copyright notice.

Proofread the manuscript and check that figures, equations, and references are legible before creating the final PDF.

Step 3: Validate the PDF through IEEE PDF eXpress

  • Formatting checks can reveal problems that take time to correct. Please begin this step well before the deadline.

    1. Visit IEEE PDF eXpress.
    2. Select “Create Account” and enter 71798X as the Conference ID for IEEE DELCON 2026. If you have used PDF eXpress for another conference, use the same password you used previously and verify your contact details.
    3. Create a new title for your accepted paper.
    4. Select “Submit PDF for Checking” or “Submit Source Files for Conversion.”
    5. Resolve any reported problems and repeat the check until the final file passes.
    6. Download and save the validated or PDF eXpress–generated PDF for upload to EDAS.

If you change the manuscript after validation, check the revised PDF again. Do not edit or reprint the validated file.

PDF eXpress does not replace the final upload to EDAS. If an “Approve for collection” option appears in PDF eXpress, it does not complete Step 5.

Step 4: Complete copyright and upload in EDAS
  1. Sign in to EDAS and open your existing accepted paper record. Do not create a new paper submission.
  2. Click “Submit Copyright” and complete the IEEE electronic copyright form as directed.
  3. Upload the PDF eXpress–validated PDF as the final manuscript.
  4. Reopen the uploaded PDF and verify that it is the correct version.

You must upload the camera-ready PDF to your existing EDAS paper record by 25 October 2026. Emailing the PDF does not count as submission; DELCON organizers cannot upload it on your behalf.
Help with PDF preparation

  • These optional tips may help with PDF eXpress errors involving fonts, margins, or conversion. No particular PDF creation software is required.

    • Read the PDF eXpress check report. Select “Understanding the PDF Check Report” in your account for guidance on the reported error.
    • To inspect fonts in Adobe Acrobat Reader, open File → Properties → Fonts. Fonts should show “Embedded” or “Embedded Subset.” See Adobe’s guide.
    • For a margin error, retain the IEEE template’s page layout. Check whether an equation, figure, table, or footnote extends beyond the text area, then correct it in the source document.
    • In Microsoft Word, try exporting directly to PDF. If the PDF fails the check, submit the Word file to PDF eXpress for conversion.
    • In Overleaf or LaTeX, check whether imported PDF or EPS figures contain unembedded fonts. See Overleaf’s troubleshooting guide.
    • If you already use PrimoPDF, try its “Prepress” profile. For CutePDF Writer, see its font setting instructions.
