Visa Support for International Participants

International participants planning to attend IEEE DELCON 2026, to be held at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan, India, from 19–21 November 2026, are advised to review the visa requirements for travel to India well in advance.

The information provided here is intended only as general guidance. Visa rules may change from time to time, and participants should always verify the latest requirements through the official Government of India visa portal and the concerned Indian Embassy/Consulate.

Before You Apply

  • Participants traveling to India should ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry and contains at least two blank pages.
  • Those attending IEEE DELCON 2026 should apply for the visa category appropriate to their purpose of travel, typically a Conference Visa or, where eligible, an e-Conference Visa.
  • The official Government of India visa portal is: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in

Conference Documents and Invitation Letter

  • The Organizing Team of IEEE DELCON 2026 will issue an invitation letter and other conference-related supporting documents, as applicable, only to registered participants.

  • These documents are provided solely to support the visa application process. Their issuance does not guarantee visa approval, which remains entirely under the authority of the concerned Government offices and visa-issuing authorities.

How to Request Visa Support

  • Registered participants requiring visa support documents may contact the conference team at: delcon2026@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in

  • Please use the following subject line in your email: Subject: Visa Application

  • To help process your request smoothly, participants should include their full name, paper ID or registration details, nationality, passport number, and any specific document requirement communicated by the embassy or consulate.

Apply Early

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to begin the visa process as early as possible. Processing time may vary depending on nationality, visa category, and the Indian Embassy/Consulate handling the application. In some cases, additional clearances may be required, which can increase processing time.

Participants Traveling with Family Members

  • Accompanying persons who do not intend to attend the technical sessions of the conference should apply for the visa category appropriate to their travel purpose, such as a Tourist Visa, subject to applicable Government of India rules.

Responsibility of the Applicant

  • Each participant is responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa for travel to India. The IEEE DELCON 2026 Organizing Team can only provide conference-related supporting documents and cannot intervene in, influence, or expedite any visa decision.

Disclaimer
