ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

Building upon BITS Pilani's legacy, the Department of Civil Engineering is organising the Global Symposium on Infrastructure for Atmanirbhar India — a dynamic platform for translating research into practice, fostering innovation, and enabling industry–academia collaboration aligned with national priorities of sustainable and resilient infrastructure development for Viksit Bharat.

Unlike conventional conferences, this symposium bridges the gap between knowledge creation and implementation, bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders to co-create solutions.
