The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at BITS Pilani,Pilani Campus, invites delegates from academia and industry to participate in the Intersections of Knowledge: Exploring Discourses and Beyond in Humanities and Social Sciences conference.
This conference seeks to foster our understanding of the multifaceted aspects of knowledge, encouraging discussions on evolving discourses, interdisciplinary approaches, and innovative solutions for the challenges faced in various HSS disciplines.
We welcome a diverse group of delegates, including those from academia, research and development organizations, and industry to deliberate on these issues. Additionally, we encourage students (Doctoral, Master's, and Bachelor's) to present their work through paper and poster presentations.

Established in 1964, BITS Pilani is a Deemed-to-be-University and is also recognized by the Government of India as an Institute of Eminence. We offer various multidisciplinary academic programs across six sprawling campuses in India. Our diverse and globally connected campuses are located in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Dubai.
The department has been integral to the BITS ecosystem from its inception represented symbolically through the Lotus in the institute'slogo. The department has twenty-one faculty members specializing in diverse disciplines. It offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and PhD level.
