Instructions for workshop attendees:

  • Do not bring food or drink into the lab
  • Avoid skin and eye contact with chemicals
  • Dress properly for the lab.
  • Wear clothing that covers as much skin as possible.
  • Sandals are not permitted. Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times in the laboratory. Perforated shoes or sandals are not appropriate.
  • All loose clothing and long hair must be confined
  • Read the entire experiment before coming to the lab.
  • Arrive on time for lab
  • Keep the benchtop uncluttered
  • Book bags, coats, etc. are not to be placed on the benchtop or the floor close to the lab benches. Place all such items in the designated areas near the entrance to the lab.
  • Clean up at the end of the lab.
