Instructions for workshop attendees:

  • Do not bring food or drink into the lab.
  • Avoid skin and eye contact with chemicals.
  • Dress properly for the lab.
  • Wear clothing that covers as much skin as possible.
  • Sandals are not permitted. Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times in the laboratory. Perforated shoes or sandals are not appropriate.
  • All loose clothing and long hair must be confined.
  • Read the entire experiment before coming to the lab.
  • Arrive on time for lab.
  • Keep the benchtop uncluttered.
  • Book, bags, coats, etc. are not to be placed on the benchtop or the floor close to the lab benches. Place all such items in the designated areas near the entrance to the lab.
  • Clean up at the end of the lab.
