About the Event
Hyderabad Soft Matter Meet is an annual one-day symposium, organized since 2023, that brings together faculty members, researchers, PhD students, and engineers from institutions across Hyderabad working in the broad field of Soft Matter. The symposium fosters interdisciplinary interactions among the physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and various engineering communities, while providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and promoting collaboration. This year, we also encourage participation of undergraduate and postgraduate students!
Our previous symposiums were held at IIT Hyderabad, TIFR Hyderabad, and the University of Hyderabad. This year it will happen at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.

Option 1: Taxi (Recommended)

2. From Secunderabad Station / JBS
Option 1: Direct bus to BITS (Outside Platform 1)
• Bus number: 212 (Destination: BITS)
• Timings: Around 7:50 AM, 8:50 AM, 3:50 PM, 4:50 PM
Option 2: Indirect bus + auto
• Board any bus going to Karimnagar or Siddipet.
• Get down at Dongala Mysamma Junction (near Thumkunta Village).
• Take an auto to BITS (about 4 km).
Option 3: Taxi

3. From Any Other Location in Hyderabad
• Take an MMTS train or bus to Secunderabad Station / JBS, then follow the directions above.
