About YEB
at BITS Pilani
Young Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp (YEB) at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus is a 6-day long residential program for school students (Grade 9 to 12 or equivalent) designed to give a glimpse of technology driven innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem at BITS Pilani. YEB will enlighten and actively engage the participants about various aspects of entrepreneurship through talks, workshops and visits to state of the art facilities at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. The talks will be delivered by eminent professors, entrepreneur’s, scientists, innovators and our distinguished alumni. The students will also get an opportunity to showcase their innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities via “BITS Pilani YEB Innovation Pitching Challenge”. Last but not the least, the program includes a lot of fun and cultural activities for students. Come on board to open the doors to the entrepreneurial world!

➤What the YEB Program Offers
The program will adopt a design thinking approach to help the young creative minds build an innovative product and develop a business model around it through the following:
- Exposure to a design thinking approach for innovation and problem-solving
- Opportunity to identify real-world problems and build business-oriented solutions
- Hands-on learning in market research, value proposition, and customer segmentation
- Experience in brainstorming, feasibility analysis, and pricing strategies
- Guidance to develop prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
- Opportunity to network and interact with peers, mentors, and industry experts
- A guided tour of Goa for experiential learning and exploration
➤Hands on Demonstration
- EEE: Live session on PCB design along with basic circuit analysis activities
- Mechanical Workshop: Demonstration of workshop instruments with hands-on experience on small projects
- 3D Printing & Scanning: Live demonstration along with hands-on exposure to small projects
- App Development: Demonstration sessions on app development by the coding group
- Biotech Equipment: Introduction and demonstration of key biotechnology equipment

Who can participate in
YEB is designed for school students who are excited about innovations and entrepreneurship. To participate in YEB 2025, you must be a student in any Grade between 9th to 12th (or equivalent).
Application fee is Rs. 500 per student.
Subsidized Fee for YEB 2026 (6-day programme) is Rs.22,000 per student.
This fee is inclusive of Accommodation, Meals, access to campus facilities, access to YEB Lecture Sessions, access to YEB Hands-On Sessions.
➤Selection Process
Round 1
Essay (in 100-150 words)
- Who is your favorite Indian Start-up founder? Why?
- Goa, being a small state yet one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, is facing problems due to over-tourism.
Identify one such problem (either existing or predicted for future) for Goa due to over-tourism. Suggest a simple solution for solving the problem that you have identified.
Essay to be evaluated according to an assessment rubric:
- Content
- Creativity
- Clarity
Round 2
Group Discussion: Applicants will be shortlisted for an online GD round. Students will be able to select a GD slot as per their schedule to avoid clash with exams.
