EMPRA (Electromagnetics and Microwave Engineering: Pedagogy, Research Trends and Applications) is a workshop series curated by the RF and microwave group - ‘LAMBDA’ (Laboratory for Antenna, Microwave and e-Beam Devices and Applications) at BITS-Pilani,  Hyderabad Campus. The first workshop was held in 2019 and focussed on imparting hands on training on microwave active circuit design. The second workshop in the series was held in 2020 to give an insight on pedagogy along with research trends and development in the
country in various national labs and industries

The third workshop in the series- EMPRA 2023, would be co-organised with Dassault Systèmes and is meant to showcase the activities carried out in various R & D labs and industries in the country via short, focussed talks and interactions. Additionally, simulation sessions would be conducted by Dassault-CST Studio on the themes of the presented talks in order to give the participants an insight into modelling complex phenomena. Participants will also get an opportunity to interact with the technical team of Simulia CST regarding their simulation problems and queries. All registered participants will also be issued a trial license for
CST Studio.
