Biographical sketch:

I obtained my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Kanpur in 2003 in the area of High Energy Physics Phenomenology.  After that, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Harish-Chandra Research Institute(HRI), Allahabad from 2002 to 2004, Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan from 2004 to 2005 and the Institute of Mathematical Science(IMSc), Chennai from 2005 to 2007. I joined the Physics department of BITS Pilani, K K Birla campus in July 2007.
 
Teaching:
 
This semester, I am teaching the following courses: (i) Electromagnetic Theory I   (More details about my: Click Teaching).  
 
Research interests: 
 
I work in the areas of Cosmology, Astrophysics, and High Energy Physics.  I am interested in (i) Looking for the signatures of New Physics (e.g. dark matter, extra dimension(s), space-time noncommutativity, supersymmetry) in ground-based and astrophysical laboratories, (ii) On early universe cosmology - inflation, modified gravity theories,  (iii) Gravitational wave and its detection and (iv) Quantum memory.
