



We are delighted to announce the XIVth Annual International Conference of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABSCON 2026), to be held from 24th to 26th March 2026 at the Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, in association with IIT Goa.
Building on the success of the previous conferences, IABSCON 2026 aims to bring together leading scientists, clinicians, academicians, researchers, and industry professionals from across the globe to exchange ideas and foster collaborations in biomedical and life sciences.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Advancements in Research and Technology for Health (ARTH 2026),” emphasizes the integration of cutting-edge technologies and innovative research approaches to address current challenges in health and disease. The conference will provide a vibrant platform for discussions on emerging trends, translational research, and technological innovations that are transforming healthcare.

The Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABS) is a registered scientific society established in 2012 under the Societies Registration Act (1860) to promote excellence and innovation in biomedical and translational research. Conceived by Prof. Hari S. Sharma and founded together with Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, the Academy serves as a platform for scientists, academicians, and clinicians to exchange knowledge and foster collaborations in biomedical sciences. Through its annual conferences, workshops, and academic initiatives, IABS continues to advance research, nurture young investigators, and bridge the gap between discovery and clinical application.
