About the Conference

2ndInternational Conference On Greener Technologies In Mechanical Engineering

Following the successful organization of the inaugural International Conference on Greener Technologies in Mechanical Engineering (ICGTME) with the theme "Greening Mind for a Greener Future", held on 3–4 February 2025 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. The second edition aims to further strengthen collaboration among academicians, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and students working towards sustainable engineering solutions. The conference provides a platform to discuss recent advances, emerging technologies, and innovative practices in thermal, design, manufacturing, materials, industrial, and allied engineering disciplines that promote environmental sustainability. It highlights the role of mechanical engineering in addressing global sustainability challenges and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through keynote lectures, technical sessions, and expert interactions, the conference seeks to foster knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus

Established in 1946, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani has built a strong reputation for excellence in engineering edu cation, research, and innovation. The department offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs with a balanced focus on engineering fundamentals, hands-on learning, and industry-driven applications. Its academic and research activities span Design, Manufacturing, Materi als Engineering, Thermal and Fluid Engineering, Energy Systems, and Supply Chain and Operations. Publication Opportunities

Recommended abstracts from each presentation session will be invited for full paper submission after the conference. Submitted papers will be reviewed for publication in indexed proceedings.
