PS programme is an institutionalized process to link University with Industry. PS programme is implemented across all the disciplines of engineering, science
and humanities. PS programme is an integral part of the BITS curriculum. PS programmes are credited. That is, they form nearly 20% of the course load in terms of units required for a student to graduate. Students are involved in the projects related to real life settings. Continuous and internal evaluation of PS students is done at the Practice
School Station. Resident faculty member at the industry site monitors and evaluates the work of
the students.
PS is an optional stream. However, 100% of the students opt for PS due to
its immense popularity and relevance.
