Overview

The Practice School programme is unique to BITS Pilani. We try and pre-empt the most common questions and answer them.

  • What is PS-I?

    Practice School-I is an industrial exposure programme of eight weeks duration.It is a 5 Unit course. It introduces the students to the real life work environment which can not be simulated in the classroom.

  • How do the registration formalities of PS-I differ from the normal registration process?

    The registration formalities of PS-I are identical to normal registration process. However in PS-I, registration is done on campus and with respect to individual Station.

  • How many leaves can be taken during PS-I?

    In PS-I maximum leave permitted is 3 days. However, sanctioning of leave is subjected to prior permission and approval of PS faculty at the station.

  • Can any student do more than one PS-I?

    A student can utmost register three times for a PS-I programmes. After the first PS-I programme, the rest are considered as electives.
