Dr. Sujan Yenuganti was born and brought up in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Bachelor’s degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering in 2007, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2012 and 2017. He also worked as an SRF in SERB-DST (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) sponsored project while pursuing his Ph.D in the department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India. He has also been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, USA from February 2017 to January 2018. During his Ph.D and post doc, he acquired a good theoretical experience in designing, modeling and developing piezoelectric based resonant sensors for measuring physical quantities (pressure, thickness, displacement, density etc) with handful of experience in testing and experimentation. His research interests includes the design of sensors and actuators using smart materials, design and development of piezoelectric resonant pressure sensors and MEMS sensors.
