Department of Languages has procured a new software language lab system named Orell Digital Language Lab (ODLL). It offers cutting edge software solutions and delivers a truly state- of-the-art Language teaching – learning solutions integrating both the two – way communication and incognito individual student monitoring. Thus, it is a value addition to the Department of Languages. It is envisaged that this lab system will help in the conduction of not only the structured courses but also the training programmes like BARC, BALCO, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, etc. Besides this, five UPS have also been installed for the smooth operation of the lab even during the hour of power failure. Several VCDs / DVDs also have been procured in the areas of communication skills for enabling the students to get intense practice for enhancing their skills.
