BITS Pilani is not just an institute, it is a fraternity where innovation and ideas are given more priority than that of bookish knowledge. It boasts of multicultural and multilingual society, united by the motto of “Knowledge is Power”. To be a part of this esteemed institute and work closely with and under the guidance of the revered faculty of Dept. of Pharmacy of BITS Pilani, Pilani campus has been a dream come true for me. It leaves to say how unique and diverse the course curriculum is offered at BITS which not only has allowed me and my batch mates the chance to experience the various facets of Pharmaceutical industry, but also an added advantage over the students of other institutes, which is clearly reflected by the superiority of ours over other colleges’ placements statistics. For me, BITS Pilani has empowered me and emboldened me to take on challenges head on in the ever changing field of Pharmaceutical sciences and for that, I am evermore grateful to the faculty, department and BITS.

I got my dream job through campus placement in Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. for their R&D profile, where I am currently employed. Ultimately, it is BITS Pilani, my alma mater which has made all the difference in my life for good.

B.Pharm (Hons) and MSc. (Tech) Information Systems, BITS Pilani Currently, I am in 4th year at BITS-Pilani.
The extensive lab work in the Pharmacy labs and a wide number of courses that I was exposed to at BITS Pilani were the major contributors in my selection for the prestigious Khorana Program-a 10 weeks student exchange research program between India and USA. I worked in the Systems Biology lab of Dr. Chi Zhang at University of Nebraska-Lincoln on a relatively newer topic which was based on the identification of non-coding circular RNA. The overall experience was quite good and I gained a lot in those two months which would definitely remain with me for my whole life. I am firmly grateful to all my professors for helping me during the application process and guiding me through the course of my study.

From 40 hours of class in a week, with tons of labs to fun hours with active work in associations, BITS has been the best part of my life. The Professors of my department have always provided me with a much needed motivation to work on several research projects. Exposure to multi-disciplinary subjects and flexibility to work in your desired field of interest got me nominated for Mantra awards for innovation. I will be doing my final year thesis in Department of Biomechanics at ETH Zurich on a non-invasive method for analysis of the bone density in osteoporosis.With such an open environment, I believe that BITS Pilani is the best choice for any person who is elegantly passionate in his field of interest.
