The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in 1964 with primary missions to educate undergraduate and graduate students, and to discover and disseminate knowledge through research. The department offers degree programs at three tiers of education, namely, the Integrated First Degree, B.E. (Hons.); the Higher Degree, M.E (Chemical Engineering and Chemical with Specialization in Petroleum Engineering); the Ph.D. degree (on-campus and off-campus under Ph.D Aspirant’s scheme). The department is committed to achieving excellence in these activities, and evaluates the success and leadership of its programs using the highest standards of quality, innovation and visibility.
