1. DST has awarded  Rs. 80 lakhs  to Department of Civil Engineering (Co-ordinator: Prof. S.B. Singh) to Strengthen the research facilities in Structural Engineering
2.The Aditya Birla Group has awarded Prof. S.B. Singh Rs. 10 Lakhs as sponsorship for their project - Development and Usage of Innovative Ductile Composite Materials for Repair and Retrofitting of Masonry Structures. 
3. The Aditya Birla Group has awarded Dr. Anupam Singhal & Prof. Rajiv Gupta Rs. 10 Lakhs as sponsorship for their project - A study of Sludge minimization during the treatment of pickling effluent and recovery of metals from the treated sludge.
