 The strength of the group lies in state-of-the  art laboratories and versatile faculty members.  The group has research interests in the broad  areas of solid mechanics, design engineering,  thermal sciences & fluid mechanics, nonlinear  dynamics, plastics and composites, fracture  mechanics etc. pasting

Faculty Excellence Award 2012

Prof. S. Venkateswaran Faculty Excellence Award 2012

Prof. S. Venkateswaran Faculty Excellence Award 2012, is presented Prof. D M Kulkarni, Mechanical Engineering for excellence in teaching, research and contribution to institution development.
 
The award carries a citation and a cash prize of INR 100,000. The awards (Cash and Citation Plaque) is presented by the Chancellor Dr Kumar Mangalam Birla at the first convocation of BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus on the 12th of August 2012.
