When a multitude of students from colleges all across the country assemble at one place, it is only then you realise the magnanimity of an event. Waves, the annual cultural festival of BITS Pilani- Goa Campus (BPGC), certainly managed to create more than a fair share of ripples, in its seventh edition. Spread across three days from November 3-5, this festival attracted a crowd that ran into thousands to the land of sun and surf.
The biggest of the events in this festival were referred to as the Big 4 by the crowd. Sea Rock, a battle of the bands event, was the biggest of them all, with eliminations having happened in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi and Pune, for the first time. Natyanjali, a group dance competition, saw colleges battle it out on the dance floor while Vogue saw them prove their mettle on the ramp. Mr. and Ms. Waves, the last of the Big 4, like the others, also opened up to a full house.
