Ongoing Projects

Digitisation of old books and journals. As a part of the Digital Library of India project, over 20000 books/journals of the library will be digitised and integrated with the Digital Library of India and also BITS Digital library. Copyright free materials will be chosen for this project.
Institutional Repository. Articles published by the Institute faculty as well other publications of the Institute will be included in the Institutional Repository.
Retro conversion of library catalogue and barcoding of the entire collection. Database includes books, CDs, Educational videos, theses/reports. Most part of the library holdings is already computerised. The journal holdings are now being updated.
