Education System:
The curriculum is dynamic with continuous addition of new courses to incorporate cutting edge knowledge. Industry experience is a part of the curriculum and lays the base for students to work in the industry. The curriculum offers opportunities to a student to carry out R&D through project type courses. A lot of emphasis is laid on practical applications through project work and industrial training (Practice School).

Overall Development:
Students govern many of their own affairs, other than classroom work, through various student bodies, operate clubs, and organize cultural, technical & sports festival at all campuses. BITS believes in supporting students in developing them into well-rounded personalities.

Ratings:
Pilani has been consistently ranked high in all surveys. " Outlook survey: Amongst the top 10 destinations for engineering education; ranked No. 1 for its Industrial Interface & Personality development. " Government of India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), 2008: Gave highest grade A, and one of the highest CGPA's of 3.71, after a combined assessment of Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai campuses.
